WA: Two more road deaths takes holiday toll to four
SYDNEY, Jan 1 AAP - Two fatalities on West Australian roads today pushed the state'sholiday road toll to four.
At 5pm (AWST) an elderly couple were travelling near Quindalup, in the state's south-west,when their vehicle left the road and hit a tree, a police media spokeswoman said.
The 81-year-old male driver died as a result of the accident. His 80-year-old wifereceived head and chest injuries.
