NSW: Severe storm hits Sydney =3

A small child had also been swept into a drain at Cronulla, in Sydney's south, the
spokesman said.

"The child is safe, which is remarkable," he said.

Meanwhile, at Luddenham, west of Sydney, a man slipped three or four metres off a roof
during the storm, he said.

Fire services reported part of the roof of Hornsby hospital had blown off.
